In what really was a key weekend for the Northern Michigan University Wildcats in their playoff hunt turned out to be a egg laying weekend.
In a combined 11-3 goal differential over the weekend, the Cats again showed their limp game. Much like a roller coaster they again showed inconsistant O and a D that may as well not even stood on the ice.
I am as much an NMU hockey fan as anyone, but I also have to say that this team should just stay home and not even show up if they continue to show efforts like this. They have showed they can not only play with, but also beat the best in the leauge. They have also showed that they can lose to anyone.
